30 Before 30

Hubster and I have both realised that 30 is not that far away. A friend of mine recently wrote herself a 30 before 30 list and we decided to jump on the band wagon. Basically you write a list of 30 things to accomplish before turning 30 and document the process.

We actually found this hard to write as everything we could think of to add we had already done. Either we are completely unoriginal, or we have already lived pretty awesome lives. I prefer to think the latter. Without further ado, here’s the complete list. I may share some of the more awesome experiences with you!

Team Toroa’s 30 before 30

1 – Ride the Karangahake Gorge

2 – Kayak in the Milford Sound

3 – Bungee jump

4 – Cook a 3 course meal from scratch

5 – Go on a hot air balloon ride

6 – Buy a house

7 – Sell something we have made

8 – Go to a concert

9 – Learn a new language

10 – Build a fence

11 – Complete #100happydays

12 – Stay in a 5 star hotel and order room service

13 – Try a new type of ethnic cuisine

14 – Take a cruise

15 – Fly somewhere business class (or better)

16 – Watch a sunrise and sunset in the same day

17 – Shoot a bow and arrow

18 – Visit the planetarium

19 – See a live musical (in NZ)

20 – Try 10 new restaurants

21 – Watch all the movies on the IMDB top 250 list

22 – Make only handmade gifts

23 – Eat clean, whole food for a month.

24 – Make every single recipe in a cookbook

25 – Go on a day hike somewhere in NZ

26 –  Learn how to use our camera properly

27 – Go back to Rarotonga

28 – Run in the colour run

29 – Visit a winery

30 – Take the Inter-Islander
